Eric Clemens named to the CVSR Board of Trustees.

Last night, I was confirmed as a member of the board of trustees for the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

For those of you who do not already know about the CVSR, the railroad operates a stretch of track between Cleveland, Akron, and Canton which travels through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The CVSR is a regional gem. If you have never ridden the train – it is a relaxing and very scenic experience. It is a truely unique way to experience the nature found in our national park.

The CVSR is looking for riders! Please check out their web site for a calendar of special events (like the “Day out with Thomas” or Wine Train) and take a ride. Also, consider bringing your bike for their bike-a-board program. For just $2 you can ride the train one way and then bike the tow path back to your car.

I am happy to promote and share in the mission of the CVSR and encourage all of you to also become involved. I thank them for their appointment.

Congrats Eric! That’s wonderful news… we’ve had the boys out there a couple of times and always really enjoy ourselves!
