MS Flight Simulator
My 2nd computers was a IBM PCjr. Among my first games were ZORK, Kings Quest, and MS-Flight Simulator.
I never got past the landing and crashing phase of MS Flight Simulator. Perhaps I never had the desire to sit down and actually study everything involved with trying to fly a plane. Perhaps I was just too board with the crappy graphics and hitting F10 to throttle up VS using an actual flight yoke and throttle setup.
A lot has changed in 20 years. MS-Flight Simulator X is a very diverse and detailed simulator these days.
Then I read articles like this: Logitech’s Flight System G940 joystick almost replaces flight school
So add this to my wish list, along with a proper computer to run MS-Flight Simulator on.
It doesn’t help that my father in law is a flight instructor and I flew and airplane for the first time last year.
