Between two different contact managers, I have about 1000 contacts. I need an easy way that I can keep these systems in sync or at last compare the data so I have an accurate list that I can work from to make the changes I need.

I manage most of my contacts in Outlook because it will sync with my server, laptop, desktop, and PDA. However, we also use a PSA application that has contacts in it. The PSA Application syncs its contact data to a public folder on our exchange server. It also uses SQL, so there are a couple of ways that this could be done.

There are applications out there which will sync a personal contacts list to a public folder – but I don’t want it to sync everything. I need some control over what is sync’d and the sync should be one way (from public to personal) and compare in the other direction.

If I had the chops I suppose that I might be able to write a program that would help me with this task – the problem is – I am NOT a programmer. I’ve managed to stumble through some PHP and HTML in my day, but I just don’t have the chops to write code. I am pretty good with application/UI Design though.

So… as the title suggests… I need a programming buddy. By buddy, I mean someone who does not have system administration chops and needs a SysAdmin buddy (like me) so that we can help each other out. Lets be friends, buddy.

For potential buddys – I offer 20 years of experience in Windows and Linux/Unix system administration. I am fluent with Apache and IIS, system setup, maintenance, and configuration.

There is a back end opportunity to make some money with this app. The PSA application has a large install base and I am positive that I am not the only one with this problem… We could make a few bucks.
